Mary Lou Freeman
Office Manager & Legal Assistant
Ms. Freeman has served as the Office Manager/Legal Assistant at Eldridge & Blakney, P.C., since 2004. She manages the firm’s internal accounting and office management functions as well as performing the duties of a legal assistant.
A lifetime resident of Knoxville, Ms. Freeman graduated with highest honors from State Technical Institute at Knoxville (now known as Pellissippi State) with an Associates Degree in Computer Accounting. Ms. Freeman is an active member in her church and community; holding the office of Publicity Chair for the Central High School (her alma mater) Bobcat Band Boosters.
Karen Parr
Legal Assistant
Ms. Parr began working at Eldridge & Blakney, P.C., in 2003, continually applying her 35-years experience in legal assistance supporting Ms. Blakney. She is an active member of the Knoxville Association of Legal Professionals and was recently elected as President. She is also actively involved in the National Association of Legal Secretaries and the Tennessee Association of Legal Secretaries.
Ms. Parr graduated from Knoxville Business College with a Certificate in Business. Before coming to Eldridge & Blakney, she worked as secretary to the Senate Clerk in the Ohio State Senate for ten years after serving as legal assistant at two other prestigious Ohio law firms.
